Prayer :- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed Under Section 528 of BNSS/482 of Cr.P.C to extend the period of surrender of the petitioners before the learned Special Court for SC and ST (POA)Act, Dindigul in Crl.OP(MD)No.9166/2024 dated 28.06.2024.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD).No.9166 of 2024 :

Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to permit the petitioners to surrender and accept the bail application filed by the petitioners before the Special Court for SC & ST (POA)Act, Dindigul in connection with Crime No.344 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent Police and in the event of filing the same, the said application may be directed to be considered on the same day on merits and in accordance with law forthwith.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and typed set of papers filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. K.R.Badurus Zaman, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents No.1 and 2, this Court made the following order: "This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioners before the Special Court for SC and ST (POA) Act, Dindigul, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9166 of 2024 dated 28.06.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners could not surrender before the learned Judge concerned and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court. 2/4

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this petition is allowed and time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order."
