PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's representations dated 02.01.2017 and 10.02.2018 and release the benefits admissible to her husband as claimed therein with arrears and all other consequential benefits within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to release the benefits admissible to the petitioner's husband with arrears and all other consequential benefits. 2.By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today through video conferencing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has made representations, dated 02.01.2017 and 10.02.2018 to the respondents with the relief sought for in the prayer, so far no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.In reply, Mr.N.

Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 would fairly submit that if the petitioner submits a copy of the aforesaid representations, dated 02.01.2017 and 10.02.2018 to the 4th respondent, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks. 5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has also agreed with the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 4. 6.In the light of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of with the following directions:- i) the petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representations dated 02.01.2017 and 10.02.

7.No costs.
