For Respondent : M/s.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime No.482 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), r/w 20(b)(ii)(c), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act 1985, in Crime No.482 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 132 Kgs of Ganja.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that no previous case is pending against the petitioner.

4.On 22.10.2021, this Court has granted interim order to the petitioner with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily for a period of one week and co-operate for the enquiry and also directed the respondent police to find out the truth and file a report before this Court on the next hearing. 5.Today i.e on 29.10.2021, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner did not co-operate for the enquiry and also submitted that the petitioner is having some previous cases of similar in nature

6. Considering the conduct and attitude of the petitioner and the antecedents of this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
