This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Advocate General -III for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General -III for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that this Writ Petition has become infructuous, as the election has been commenced. To this effect, a communication bearing reference in S.O.No. 2/4

13/2025/TNSEC/ME-2, dated 05.08.2025 of the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission has been filed.

3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law as and when appropriate cause of action arises. No costs.
