This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to take necessary action to prevent the continuous harassment of the fourth respondent against the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation, dated 09.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is a History Sheeted rowdy in H.S.No.91 of 2013 on the file of the Karungal Police Station, Kanyakumari District and 8 cases are pending against the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, the relief as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
