ORDER
Heard Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner and Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2.This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to direct the respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings, pending against the writ petitioner based on the charge memo issued by the respondent vide his proceedings in Estt/E1/JL Verification /2015-161, dated 23.02.2016, by considering the representation of the writ petitioner, dated 04.06.2019.
3.The writ petitioner has joined in the Tamil Nadu Industrial Co-operative Bank Service as Assistant on 10.02.1992 and subsequently, promoted and transferred as Bank Inspector in the month of July, 2008 from Thanjavur Branch to Pudukkottai Branch and subsequently, at Karur Branch. While he was working in Karur Branch, a charge memo dated 23.02.2016 was issued to the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.19212 of 2019 petitioner by the respondent. The writ petitioner has submitted his explanation, dated 07.10.2016 and domestic enquiry was ordered by proceedings dated 05.11.2016. The writ petitioner has participated in the domestic enquiry. The enquiry officer concluded the enquiry on 21.12.2016 and filed report. Thereafter, no order was passed in the disciplinary proceedings. The enquiry report also was not furnished on the writ petitioner.
The petitioner made representations to the respondents on 31.08.2018 and 06.03.2019, stating that he was deprived of promotion to the post of Manager, due to pendency of the disciplinary proceedings. Hence, the writ petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings and pass orders, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
