..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to permit the Petitioner and the Karadipatti Village people to conduct the festival namely, Aadi festival in Arulmighu Velamani Kannimar, Oor Kaval Ayyanar and Arulmighu Amman situated at Karadipatti Village,Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District on 5.8.2024 and 6.8.2024 as per customary practice by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 30.07.2024.

ORDER

The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to permit the Petitioner and the Karadipatti Village people to conduct the festival namely, Aadi festival in Arulmighu Velamani Kannimar, Oor Kaval Ayyanar and Arulmighu Amman situated at Karadipatti Village,Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District on 5.8.2024 and 6.8.2024 as per customary practice by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 30.07.2024. 2.Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanidhi, learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that the function as mentioned in the prayer is already over. 4.In view of the above submission, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this Writ Petition and as such the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition become infructuous.

5.In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
