ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to initiate appropriate action as against the respondents 3 to 8 for ex-communicating the petitioner from his Village and also restraining the petitioner from participating in Village functions, Church functions etc.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that on verification of the Inspector of Police, Valliyur, at present there is absolutely no ex-communication of the petitioner and his family members from his Village. Further, there is no interference by the respondents 3 to 8 herein. 2/4

4.In view of the above, in future, if any interference is made by the respondents 3 to 8 herein in respect of the petitioner's residence and his participation in all Village functions and festivals of the Church, the second respondent is directed to take appropriate action as against the respondents 3 to 8 herein. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
