ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli District, to expedite the trial pending in S.C.No.36 of 2020 and to complete the trial within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the case is at the stage of examination of witnesses.

3. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli District, to dispose the case pending in S.C.No.36 of 2020 within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
