ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.
2. This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.5236/2016/A1 dated 22.11.2017, on the file of the respondent, concerning the petitioner's STD booth in Taxation No.181, New Bus Stand, Karaikudi. The petitioner seeks a consequential direction to the respondent to renew the lease for the STD booth at the aforementioned location.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was informed that the STD booth is no longer functioning and has been closed. It was further informed that the petitioner has passed away, and a copy of the petitioner's death certificate has been produced to that effect.
4. Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 18.09.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes skn 2/4
