O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, questioning the impugned order of the first respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.1981/2014/A4 dated 29.12.2015, vide which, the cheque signing power, which was vested with the petitioner, being the President of Kookal Village Panchayat, has been taken away.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st and 2nd respondents as well as the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

3. It is common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for any other purposes. No costs.
