ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to distribute free milch 1/3

cow to the petitioner under the scheme of "free distribution of milk house to the poor family in rural areas" for the year 2015-2016, as per the seniority of general list prepared by them. 2.According to the petitioner, though he made a representation dated 10.01.2018 to the respondents with the relief sought for in the prayer, so far, no action has been taken. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2018, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate and also considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
