The present impugned order of transfer dated 18.12.2017 has become infructuous since the petitioner was subsequently transferred from Tuticorin Sub Division to Cheranmahadevi Sub Division on 27.11.2019 and thereafter, was again transferred to Tuticorin Sub Division on 20.03.2020 in which, the petitioner is presently working.

2. In view of the above developments, as such, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition challenging the original transfer order dated 18.12.2017. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.(MD) No.1874 of 2018 is closed.
