Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 6660/ 2019 :

To pass an order directing the respondents particularly the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members who are all not involved in the alleged offence under the guise of enquiry forthwith.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents herein for the wilful disobedience of the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.6660 of 2018, dated 04.06.2019.

2. This Court by an order dated 04.06.2019, directed the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of conducting any search. It is seen that the son of the petitioner involved in the case registered in Crime No.19 of 2018, for the offences under Sections 506 (i) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11 (5) and 12 of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. So far, the respondent could not secure the son of the petitioner herein. In fact, the petitioner's son involved in a very serious crime and the offences are grave in nature. Cont.P(MD)No.1434 of 2019 the accused can be investigated to know the whereabouts of his son. It would not amount to harassment by the respondent. Therefore, no contempt is made out as against the respondent.

3. In view of the above, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
