ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the the respondent police to expedite the Investigation in Crime No.201 of 2018, dated 19.10.2018 and file the Final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.201 of 2018, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 323 and 506(ii) IPC. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even after lapse of three years, the investigation has not been completed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that the complaint filed by the petitioner has been referred as mistake of fact and closure report copy has also been pasted upon the door of the petitioner in the presence of the Village Administrative Officer on 21.10.2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16000 of 2021 4.Let the entire file be produced before the Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar and the Superintendent of Police go through the process of investigation done by the respondent herein and also ascertain the delay in serving the notice upon the petitioner. Let the Superintendent of Police shall file a report to the Registry thereafter.

5.Since the RCS notice has been pasted in the Door of the petitioner, it is appropriate to him to work out his remedy through proper proceedings and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

5.This criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous with the above directions and liberty.
