ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents more particularly the second respondent not to involve or interfere in the civil dispute persisting between the petitioner and the third respondent forthwith and also not to harass the petitioner in this regard.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an agriculturist. The petitioner entered into a lease agreement with the third respondent in respect of the land of the third respondent for five years i.e., till 2024. All of a sudden, the third respondent started to disturb the possession of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner filed a caveat petition before the learned Principal Sub Judge, Srivilliputhur vide C.O.P.No.152 of 2020. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15587 of 2020 petition to the second respondent against the petitioner. Based on that, the second respondent is interfering with the civil dispute. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first and second respondents, on instructions, would submit that it is a property dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent. The petitioner only preferred the complaint against the third respondent and based on that complaint, enquiry has been conducted and the petitioner has also appeared for enquiry and submitted that no further action is required in this matter, as it is a civil dispute between the parties, on 18.11.2020.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as misconceived.
