Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.48 of 2022 and to dispose of the above case within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner, who is the 1st accused in C.C.No.48 of 2022, has moved this petition, seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1/4
Vedasandur, to conclude the trial in C.C.No.48 of 2022.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the case in Crime No.753 of 2021 was registered in the year 2021 and the final report was also filed in the year 2022, however, there is no progress in the trial proceedings for want of other accused. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, other accused are from Rajasthan and therefore, they have not been secured so far and the trial court has also not proceeded with the trial for want of other accused. He further submits that the petitioner has also filed an application for split up the case as against him.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondent and submits that the trial court has split up the case as against the petitioner and posted the case for further hearing on 02.09.2025.
4. Since it is reported that the case has been split up as against the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur, shall proceed with the trial in C.C.No.48 of 2022 and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible.
