ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2025 seeking issuance of patta in respect of the 10 cents in Survey No.80/1, Irrattai Urani Villadivagai, Rajasingamangalam, Ramanathapuram District in addition to the 2.77 acres, in respect of which already patta was granted in favour of the petitioner.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that already patta was issued in respect of 2.77 acres of land in Survey No.80/1 in the above mentioned village by Assistant Settlement Officer in favour of the petitioner's father. However, an additional 10 cents of land has been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's family for a quite long time. Based on the long position, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 27.05.2025 seeking issuance of patta in respect of 10 cents. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law on its own merits.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
