O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to rectify the wrong classification, made in Survey No. 569/2 as Government Poramboke and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner, as mentioned in the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2023, within a time frame, as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 13.06.2023 to the 1st respondent to rectify the wrong classification, made in Survey No. 569/2 as Government Poramboke and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased the property in the year 1999 and the respondents wrongly 2/5

classified the land as Government poramboke land.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, informs the Court that the land is assigned land and has to be used only for the purpose of agriculture. It was converted into house sites and sold to various persons.

6. These are questions of facts that are to be decided only by the competent civil Court. However, since the representation has already been given, the same shall be disposed of within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
