O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to direct the respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 25.07.2022. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one Dharmaraj had committed sexual assault on the petitioner's daughter and hence, the complaint was lodged and on that basis, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.7 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 376(1), 511, 323 and 506(i) IPC and Section 3(1)(w) (i) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and at the instigation of the petitioner, another FIR came to be registered in Crime No.89 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC and Sections 3(1) (r), 3(1)(a) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 against the said Dharmaraj and others. 2/4

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that subsequently, counter complaint was given and FIR came to be registered in Crime No.90 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC against the petitioner and others and thereafter, another FIR was registered in Crime No.96 of 2022 for the offence under Section 228(A) of IPC. He would further submit that the petitioner gave a representation on 25.07.2022 and the same is pending before the third respondent.

4.In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
