ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that Pandiselvi and he were in love with each other, which was not to the liking of her parents and therefore, they both eloped and got married on 03.08.2022 at Veerakaliamman Temple at Perambur. However, alleging that Pandiselvi is in the illegal custody of her parents, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. Today, Ms.K.Sumaiya Banu, Sub Inspector of Police, Udayalipatti Police Station, Pudukottai District, the petitioner, Pandiselvi (detenue) and her parents are present.

3. Admittedly, Pandiselvi is 23 years old and has passed B.Sc. (Chemistry). After great vacillation, she decided to go with the petitioner. Pandiselvi not being minor, we cannot force her to go with anyone. Therefore, she is set at liberty to chalk out her life.
