ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed for a direction to direct the Rent Court, Srivilliputhur (District Munsif Court, Srivilliputhur) to dispose the RLTOP NO.1 of 2022 within a period stipulated by this Court. 1/4

2.According to the petitioner, he filed a petition in RLTOP No.1 of 2022, for eviction, before the District Munsif Court, Srivilliputhur, against the respondents, on the ground of wilful default. The first respondent entered into an unregistered agreement with the petitioner and agreed to pay monthly rent of Rs.31,500/-, payable to every English Calender month on or before 5th of every month. Thereafter, the respondents have failed to pay the monthly rent since 2020. Instead of paying arrears of rent, the first respondent has filed a civil suit in O.S.No.61 of 2021 for bare injunction. Thereafter, the first respondent has neither vacated the premises nor paid the arrears. Hence, the petitioner filed the above eviction petition. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the rent control proceedings are being adjourned periodically, without any progress and without any reason. Hence, a direction is sought for early disposal of the above RLTOP within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court 2/4

directs the learned District Munsif Judge, Srivilliputhur, to dispose the case in RLTOP No.1 of 2022, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without any further delay, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
