The petitioner's daughter is a Muslim Woman and she is a native of Madurai. She applied for pursuing her Law Degree and she was selected for Nammakkal Law College and she also joined there. Under a impression that there are certain vacancies at Madurai Law College, the petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to re-allot his daughter Minor 2/6

M.Rehman Beevi (ALC 52351269) from the 3rd respondent College to the 4th respondent College by considering her representation dated 28.06.2023.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent University submits that there is no vacancy at Madurai Law College in BCM category and therefore, it is not feasible to consider the case of the petitioner's daughter.

3. Based on the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent University, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to consider the case of the petitioner's daughter, in the event any candidate is willing for mutual transfer.

4. Considering the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by granting 3/6

liberty to the petitioner's daughter to approach the first respondent University, in the event any of the candidate is willing for mutual transfer. If any application for mutual transfer is submitted by the petitioner's daughter and any other candidate, the first respondent University shall consider the same in the manner known to law. No costs.
