COMMON PRAYER:- Writ Petitions - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the order dated 25.01.2018 in Pa.mu.No.6655/E2/2017 on the file of the Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Madurai Region, the third respondent herein.

In both petitions For Petitioner : Mr.A.V.Arun For Respondents : Mr.A.K.Manikkam Special Government Pleader for RR1 to R3 Mr.Mahaboob Fazil for R4 C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioner is the Saiva Bhanu Kshatriya college and challenges orders dated 25.01.2018 passed by the Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Madurai Region, which direct the petitioner to extend the tenure of the fourth respondent till the conclusion of the Academic year (i.e.,) from 01.08.2017 to 31.05.2018.

2. The petitioner has obtained an interim stay of the impugned order on 07.02.2018 by virtue of which the tenure of the fourth respondent, in both cases, has not been extended.

3. Moreover, the fourth respondents have superannuated on 31.07.2017 rendering the writ petitions infructuous. Incidentally, they have received full terminal benefits as recorded by me in my order dated 01.12.2021 in W.P.(MD).Nos.3808 and 3809 of 2018.

4. These writ petitions are thus closed recording the aforesaid narration. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous petitions in W.M.P.(MD).Nos.2238 and 2239 of 2018 are dismissed and Miscellaneous petitions in W.M.P.(MD).Nos.6128 and 6129 of 2018 are closed.
