PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioners 0.00.67 square meters assignment land, situating in survey number 48/3 Utkadai, Sempukkudi patty Village Thanichiyam, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District by considering the application dated 09.10.2017 and 02.11.2017 in accordance with law. Seeking Mandamus to conduct survey in the land Survey No.48/3 Utkadai, Sempukkudi patty Village Thanichiyam, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2018.

2.Today(29.01.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that the petitioner has approached the authorities for survey of the land, which was assigned to him, 2/5

without producing any valid documents. If the petitioner produce the necessary documents, they would conduct the survey within a reasonable time.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority for obtaining patta and thereafter approach the concerned surveyor for survey of the land. No costs.
