ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J) The petitioner is the President of a Village Panchayat and seeks for a direction upon the official respondents to stop the illegal construction activities done by the respondents 5 and 6 in the property in S.No.1027/1J in Vadanathampati Village, Veerasigamani Panchayat, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2.The petitioner has submitted representation to the official respondents. Since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner is before this Court.
3.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the officials respondents would submit that on account of the intervening election, the authorities are unable to take immediate action but they will pursue the matter in accordance with law, soon after, the election is over.
4.In the light of the above stand taken by the respondents, there will be a direction to the official respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the respondents 5 and 6, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
