O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner for enjoyment of the property belonging to him.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the property of the petitioner originally belonged to the Government and he approached the Forest Tribunal headed by the Special Tahsildar, Land Settlement Officer, who in turn, passed an order on 18.10.2022 recognizing the petitioner's possession over the said land and permitting the petitioner to continue the cultivation. It is submitted that inspite of such directions given by the Tahsildar, the unofficial respondent No.4 is trying to dispossess and trespass into the said land, thereby, a representation was given to the respondents Police. However, no action was initiated.

The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police, on the other hand, submits that on a representation given by the petitioner, C.S.R.No.980 of 2023 has been given and the enquiry was initiated and the respondent No.4 was severely warned not to interfere into the possession of the petitioner's land and the 2/4
statement of the petitioner was also recorded, wherein, he has given an undertaking that on account of warning given by the Police, he is not insisting for police protection and accordingly, the representation of the petitioner was closed on 13.07.2023.
4. Since the enquiry has already been completed and the petitioner himself does not want the police protection, no further order can be passed in this petition.
