P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give the petitioner the policy amount of Rs.88,000/- under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna Scheme for the failure of paddy crops in the petitioner's land to the extent of Hec. 1.61.94 in survey number 324/3A, 325/1À, and 326/6A at Ittamoli, Vijayanarayanam Part II Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2017. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to give the policy amount of Rs.88,000/- to the petitioner, under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna Scheme for the failure of paddy crops in the petitioner's land measuring to an extent of 1.61.94 Hectares in S.Nos.324/3A, 325/1À, and 326/6A at Ittamoli, Vijayanarayanam Part II Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2017. 2/4

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 on instructions submitted that in respect of the petitioner's land measuring to an extent of 1.61.94 Hectares in S.Nos. 324/3A, 325/1À, and 326/6A at Ittamoli, Vijayanarayanam Part II Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, there was yield for the particular period and that apart, the petitioner was also paid the insurance amount to the tune of Rs.19,389/-.

3. In view of the above submission made, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
