ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned proceedings in Na.Ka.No.Ku/4969/2017 dated 26.12.2017 passed by the 4th respondent and consequently direct the 4th respondent to issue cutting order to the petitioner to cut the tamarind tree grown near to the petitioner's house bearing Door No.1/83 North Street, Ottanatham Village, Ottapidraam Taluk, Tuticorin District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the report filed by the Village Administrative Officer placed before this Court.

3. On perusal of the report submitted by the Village Administrative Office, dated 05.11.2024, the branch of tamarind tree, which is under 2/4

dispute was already cut down and the petitioner had constructed his house and therefore, nothing survives in this petition.
