ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondents 4 to 8.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 4 to 8 are threatening the petitioner and on 17.08.2022 at about 7.00 pm., the respondents 4 to 8 with regard to tying his cow in front of his house, they attempted to over run the petitioner's cow by using their Car and two wheeler, hence the petitioner gave complaint against them and now threatening to withdraw the complaint. Hence he has filed the present petition to provide police protection.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the fourth respondent 2/5

gave complaint against the petitioner for which CSR was issued and the petitioner has also given complaint against the fourth respondent, for which also another CSR number issued and now both the complaints are under enquiry.

4. In view of the same, the third respondent is hereby directed to conduct investigation upon the complaint registered against the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and take suitable action on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
