ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to survey the properties situated in S.Nos.2/14, 2/15A and 2/15B at Mangammalpuram, Nagarasampettai, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering his representation, dated 30.06.2025.
2. Heard the arguments of Ms.S.Prabha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader
appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the fifth respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the sixth respondent, notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject properties were settled in his name by his father under registered sale deed, dated 07.06.2022. The patta for the subject properties stand in the name of the petitioner and his wife Kavitha in patta Nos.1328 and 1334. The petitioner submitted an application before the respondent on 30.06.2025 in application No.2025/0123//21/009641, seeking survey of the properties. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered in accordance with law.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 30.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner,co-pattathar Kavitha, neighboring land owners and other interested parties. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
