The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to provide the police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his property in Survey No.547/3B situated at Kanyakumari, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on the representation given by the petitioner CSR number has been given and the enquiry is pending. He further submitted that the enquiry will be completed within two weeks.

4.At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

5.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
