PRAYER :- To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 8 for attacking the petitioner and criminally intimidating the petitioner based on the petitioners complaints dated 29.05.2026 and 08.06.2026, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 8 for attacking the petitioner and criminally intimidating the petitioner based on the petitioners complaints dated 29.05.2026 and 08.06.2026, within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2/5

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's complaint was received but no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence this Writ Petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate submitted that the complaint has been lodged as against a police man who is an ailing cancer patient and the petitioner's suspicion with regard to the alleged illegal intimacy between the petitioner's wife and the fourth respondent, is unfounded and the enquiry is pending.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 to 8 vehemently contended that all the allegations made by the petitioner as against the respondents 6 to 8 are unfounded and the petitioner is a man of bad habits who continuously subjected the sixth respondent to domestic violence and she is a victim of domestic violences at the hands of her husband.

5. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the above submission, the third respondent police is directed to put the petitioner as well as the private respondents on notice under Section 64 BNSS and conclude the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
