[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to constitute an Expert Committee to assess the value of the fallen rubber trees, taking into account their numbers in Kanyakumari District, before they were brought for tender-cum-auction sale.

2. On perusal of the papers, we do not propose to issue any positive direction at this juncture due to efflux of time. Therefore, the writ petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the concerned Authority, which shall be considered in accordance with law, if the grievance still exists.
