The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for construction work of the Peer Mohammed Oliyulla Dargah, which is situated at Vallinokam Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2017. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the request made by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.2557 of 2018 and on the enquiry, the petitioner himself gave a statement before the second respondent that he will approach the concerned Court for appropriate relief and after obtaining order from the appropriate Court, then, he will approach the second respondent for police protection.

3.The learned counsel for the third respondent would submit that in respect of construction work, the dispute already pending. In this regard, another Writ Petition is pending before the Principal Bench of this Court.

4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, and the learned counsel for the third respondent. 5.Considering the above facts, the writ petitions is devoid of merits and hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. (*) However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint for fresh cause of action. No costs.
