O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.177 of 2023 pending on the file of the first respondent Police for the offences under Sections 3 (2) (a), 4 (2) (c), 5 (1) (a) and 7 (1) (a) of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is Accused No.4, who is shown as a tout and alleged that he has committed the offence under Sections 3 (2) (a), 4 (2) (c), 5 (1) (a) and 7 (1) (a) of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on the other hand submits that majority of the investigation is completed and the respondent Police have examined twelve witnesses and charge sheet is about to be filed.

4. Considering the circumstances and on perusal of records and also the submissions made on either side, though the majority of the investigation has 2/4

already been completed, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the respondent Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner, in case, if the presence of the petitioner is required for investigation, the respondent Police are directed to follow under Section 41 of Cr.P.C. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
