Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying this Court to direct the learned the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases registered under SC/ST(POA), Act, Thanjavur District to consider the surrender application filed by the petitioner in Crime No.345 of 2023 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.L.Dhilipanpandian, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabhahar, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the 1st and 2nd respondents , this Court made the following order: This petition is filed seeking for extension of time for executing the sureties granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11932 of 2023, dated 30.06.2023.

3. Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in the affidavit, this petition is allowed and time is extended until 26.09.2023 for executing the sureties.
