This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.571 of 2018 dated 12.07.2018 and to file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) for the respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondent police are making the petitioner to run from pillar to post, since the case is registered by the respondent as early as on 12.07.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.There shall be a direction to the respondent herein to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.571 of

Crl.O.P (MD) No.12419 of 2019 2018 dated 12.07.2018 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent is directed to report the compliance after completion of the proceedings.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
