PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent Nos.1 to 4 to take necessary action against the respondent Nos.5 & 6 and consequently direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 1/4

to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based upon the petitioner's representation, dated 30.07.2022.

ORDER

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent Nos.1 to 4 to take necessary action against the respondent Nos.5 & 6 and consequently direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based upon the petitioner's representation, dated 30.07.2022. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the respondent police has received the petitioner's representation, dated 30.07.2022 and it is under enquiry. 2/4

3.In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the fourth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.07.2022 and take suitable action on merits within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
