Petition filed under 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to to punish the Contemnors/Respondents 4 to 5 herein for their deliberate and willful disobedience of the order of this Honourable Court dated 26.06.2025 in WP(MD). No.17403 of 2025 and WMP(MD). No. 13269 of 2025 amounting to Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. 1/4

ORDER

The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 26.06.2025 passed in W.P. (MD)No. 17403 of 2025 & WMP(MD). No.13269 of 2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as Headmistress in the respondent school and she made an application for re-employment even after her retirement, ie., 30.06.2025, till the end of the academic year and the said request was rejected vide order dated 28.05.2025, which is impugned in the writ petition. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed the writ petition in WP(MD)No.17403 of 2025, wherein this Court, by order dated 26.06.2025, granted an order of status quo. Alleging violation of this order, this contempt petition has been filed. 2/4

3. On perusal of the records, it is seen that this is only an order of status quo and there is no clarification about the re-employment of the petitioner in the said order. In view of the same, there is no willful disobedience of the order of this Court and hence, this contempt petition stands closed.
