ORDER

The wife seeks transfer of H.M.O.P.No.83 of 2020, filed by the husband on the file of the Subordinate Court, Palani to the Subordinate Court, Udumalpettai.

2.The transfer is sought for mainly on the ground of convenience of the wife. The distance between Palani and Udumalpettai is only 36 km and both the towns are well connected by public transport. Further, the proceedings are have to be conducted only by the Subordinate Court, which does not require the personal appearance of the parties on every hearing. The wife can very well appear through Counsel and only when the personal appearance is necessary for the purpose of the proceedings, she may have to appear personally.

3.Therefore, I do not see any justification in the request for transfer. Hence, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
