ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 02.10.2021, for the offence punishable under Section 25(1)(a) of Arms Act, in Crime No.763 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 02.10.2021, the Sub Inspector of Police, who is the defacto complainant, received secret information from the informer and went near Syed Ammal Higher Secondary School, to prevent the crime, whereas, the petitioner said to have illegally possessed a sword and made threat to the public. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.15862 of 2021 alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner is in judicial custody from 02.10.2021 and hence, he seeks for grant of bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner herein is the sole accused and he illegally possessed sword and the sword is also recovered. He would further submit that the investigation is in initial stage and the petitioner is having one previous case.

5.Considering the gravity of the offence and also considering the fact that the petitioner herein is having one previous case and he was arrested only on 02.10.2021, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
