[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.09.2024 and 20.01.2025 and direct the fourth respondent not to form new roads through patta land and water course in Karungal Panchayat, without following the due process of acquisition.

2.The petitioner relying on the tender notification made a submission that the authorities have decided to lay road through patta land. However, on perusal of the tender by this Court, it is found that there is no such intimation.

3.In the absence of any specific proposal, the present writ is not entertainable. In the event of any grievance, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the authorities. Mere direction to consider the representation would not serve the cause, since the petitioner has not established even a semblance of legal right.

4.With the above observation, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
