ORDER

The petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and make necessary rectifications in the revenue records 1/3

pertaining to the properties in Survey No.749/2F at Silapadi Village, Dindigul Taluk, Dindigul District within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the second respondent has completed the enquiry and final orders will be passed, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
