ORDER
The present petition is filed to direct the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madurai City and the Inspector of Police, S.S. Colony Police Station, Madurai District, not to harass the petitioner without following the due process of law. 2.Heard Mr.C.Sasikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Erottusamy, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3.
3.The case of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent, who is a Ward Secretary in the ruling party, misusing his office and is running money lending business. His further contention is that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15720 of 2020 on various occasions, the fourth respondent along with his father came over to the house of the petitioner and threatened him to settle the amount which he lent to him (the petitioner) and they were also demanding huge amount towards interest. Subsequently, the petitioner gave a complaint before the Inspector of Police, S.S.Colony Police Station, Madurai and on two occasions, the fourth respondent gave an undertaking that he would not harass the petitioner. However, the respondents 2 and 3 who are supporting the fourth respondent started harassing the petitioner.
4. Per contra, Mr.Erottusamy, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would contend that the complaint in Current Petition No.RC/53366/3626/2020 was closed on 28.12.2020 and nothing survives for further adjudication.
5.Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
