PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 3 & 4 from interfering in day today activities of petitioner's business activity as the distributor of SCV Brand Digital Cable Service having control room at No.10, Ground Floor, Second Street, Anna Nagar West, Kulithalai, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District - 639 104 from implementing Digital addressable system to his local cable TV operators as per the allotment letter dated 27.11.2017 and representation dated 06.02.2018.

The petitioner, claiming to be a licensed Multi System Operator under the first respondent to distribute the Digital Cable Signal for Kulithalai Taluk and Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District from the year 2017 has filed this writ petition with an apprehension that the respondents are attempting to stall the operation of broadcast by the private Multi System Operators. prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition is that forbearing the respondents 3 & 4 from interfering in a day today activities of the petitioner's business from implementing Digital addressable system to his local cable TV operators 2.Today(28.06.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the Arasu Cable TV Corporation Ltd submits that it is only an apprehension of the petitioner and the respondents are not having any intention to stall the operation of private MSOs.

3.Recording the submission made on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 28.06.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
