The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in Na.Ka.B5/15695/2023 and dispose of the petitioner's application within a time frame. 2.Mr. D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that the property situate in S.No. 124/3 and 124/4 in Emaneshwaram Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District is the property of the petitioner's family and the same was originally owned by the petitioner's grand mother, Alimabeevi. The revenue records for the said property was erroneously changed in the name of one Mohamed Abubakkar. Therefore, the 2/5

petitioner's brother, Thangal Mohameed submitted an application before the second respondent seeking cancellation of UDR records in favour of the said Mohamed Abubakkar. The second respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.B5/15695/2023, dated 20.09.2023 issued enquiry notice and thereafter, there is no progress. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the next date of enquiry is fixed on 25.07.2025 and the proceedings initiated by the first respondent will be disposed of in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry in Na.Ka.B5/15695/2023 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the legal heirs of the said Mohamed Abubakkar in whose name the revenue records stand as on today.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
