Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to constitute a complaint cell at Thanjavur District and Pudukottai District as per the order of the Hon'ble Madras High Court in W.P.No.26991 of 2014 forthwith, consequently to direct the respondent Nos.3 to 9 to provide police protection to the petitioner and her husband and family members of her husband by considering her representation, dated 20.05.2016 within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to constitute a complaint cell at Thanjavur District and Pudukottai District as per the order of the Honourable Madras High Court in W.P.No.26991 of 2014 forthwith, consequently to direct the respondent Nos.3 to 9 to provide police protection to the petitioner and her husband and family members of her husband by considering her representation, dated 20.05.2016 within a stipulated time.
2. Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader represents that the petitioner has not disclosed their residence and actual place where they are studying.
3. Considering the nature of the case and the facts and circumstances of the case as borne out from records, I am inclined to pass the following order:
The petitioner is directed to disclose their place of stay so as to enable the respondent police to give protection. Further, the concerned respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits taking into consideration the order passed by this Court, dated 20.05.2016 in W.P.No.26991 of 2014.
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
