The Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant adequate police protection for performing the Kodai Vizha of Arulmigu Kaliamman Temple situated in Survey No.147/1 of Kadambur Village, Tuticorin District by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.05.2016.

2. Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Taking into consideration the facts of the present case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.05.2016 after giving notice to all the necessary parties for conduct of temple festival, on or before 29.05.2016.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
