Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2022 in the light of the G.O.(Ms).No.89, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P) Department dated 28.07.2020 and the order made in W.P. Nos. 34752 of 2022 dated 18.03.2024 and batch cases, by counting the period of service rendered by the petitioner in the post of Junior Assistant from 28.06.1989 onwards including the period of break in service with payment of revised pension and other retirement benefits and to grant arrears and all other attendant benefits with interest.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2022, in the light of G.O.(Ms). No. 89, 2/6
Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P) Department, dated 28.07.2020 and the order passed in W.P. No. 34752 of 2022, dated 18.03.2024 and the batch cases, by counting the period of service rendered by the petitioner in the post of Junior Assistant from 28.06.1989 onwards, including the period of break in service and to revise the pension accordingly, along with other retirement benefits, arrears and all attendant benefits, with interest.
2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2022, in the light of G.O.(Ms).No.89, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P) Department, dated 28.07.2020 and the order passed by this Court in W.P. No.34752 of 2022, dated 18.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2022, in the light of G.O.(Ms). No.89, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P) Department, dated 28.07.2020 and the order passed by this Court in W.P. No. 34752 of 2022, dated 18.03.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 14.07.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No PKN 4/6
